Creation Story Along an abandoned back road in the Adelaide Hills stood the remnants of a harder time—crumbled ruins of a home long since left behind. Walls that once held warmth and life now lay broken, slowly returning to the earth.
Yet rising from this quiet decay, something endured. An enormous, out-of-place aloe stood tall—resilient and unyielding—defying both time and the absence of those who once tended it. In a land not its own, it had taken hold, surviving seasons of neglect and the harshness of its surroundings.
What was once planted as part of a garden, perhaps with care and intention, had outlasted the very lives that placed it there. And in its silent persistence, it speaks—of endurance without witness, of life continuing long after memory fades.
