Creation Story Revealed by the retreating tide, these “Six Rocks” sit as though carefully placed—fitted within a narrow erosion crack in the coastal stone, as if arranged by the unseen hand of the Great Southern Ocean.
Each one shaped, selected, and carried by forces beyond measure. I find myself wondering how long it took—how many tides, how many storms—to gather the right forms, and then lift them with just enough power to settle them perfectly into place.
There is a quiet intention in their resting, a balance that feels almost deliberate, though born entirely of chance and time. In moments like this, the natural world feels less like chaos, and more like a patient artist—working slowly, precisely, beyond the limits of our understanding.
